Dear parents:
May the Lord give you His blessings!
Greetings and welcome to a new school year. I hope you are having an enjoyable summer with your family.
I am looking forward to personally welcoming the new members of the St. Francis family. I believe we will have a great freshman class. I assure you that the faculty and staff will do their best to make you feel at home.
During the summer, our Operations Department ensures that maintenance projects keep our campus beautiful. In addition, the maintenance staff will organize our annual cleaning of all classrooms, touch up paint on the campus, trim trees, and re-landscape areas of the school. Your participation in the Annual Fund, which supports projects not covered by tuition and fees, has helped us to achieve these goals. We are grateful for your generosity and support.
For new parents, and those with an additional son, there will be a mandatory New Parent Meeting on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 7:00 pm. It is essential that all new parents attend this meeting, even if you have a returning student. At that meeting we will also review our comprehensive development program.
Our Annual Golf Classic will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Brookside Golf Club. Our golf committee is already hard at work under the leadership of Kevin Danni. Our goal is to fill both courses at Brookside. We have enclosed a flyer; we hope that you will join us for a fun filled day of golf activities. The proceeds create scholarships for deserving St. Francis students (please see enclosed flyer).
Please mark your calendars for Mini-POSH Saturday, March 21, 2020 to be held on campus in the Norman Family Courtyard. If you are interested in volunteering, please speak with Tim Murphy at ext. 923.
I look forward to welcoming you in August. In the meantime, please know that you are remembered in my daily prayers and at Mass. And please continue to say one “Our Father” daily for the well-being of the entire St. Francis community.
Sincerely in Jesus and Francis,
Fr. Tony Martí, OFM Cap
President
